About This Trail

It's best on the Northwest face of Mt. It was paraphrased as " The Flett Glacier and its adjoining snowfields hold the snow very late in the summer, making it an excellent overnight tour when you want to make some turns. The Flett Glacier is located on the NW side of Mt. It was paraphrased as " It gets very little sunlight much of the year allowing for deep snow late in the summer as well as minimal sun cup development on the slopes. It is not included in this guide because of the open crevasses at the Russell Glacier, which can be skied as part of the tour. The tour is best done as an overnight trip, hiking in the first day, taking in some runs in the afternoon, then climbing and skiing the second day. There is enough terrain to ski on both days. The sunsets here are amazing.
