About This Trail
Father CrowleyVista is a dirt road trail that leads to a vista overlooking a salt valley. The landscape of lava flows and volcanic cinders abruptly gives way to the gash of Rainbow Canyon below this viewpoint. The dirt track east of the parking lot leads to a grand overlook of northern Panamint Valley. Father John Crowley was the Padre of the desert and he was named Father Crowley Vista.
