About This Trail
The trail begins on the north side and then goes down to the Crystal Valley Expressway on the south. This trail is used as a commuter trail and as a recreation trail in both Downtown Castle Rock and Castlewood Ranch. It is known that the trail needs to be extended further south in the future. Users can look up at the unique creek side habitat by going down Sellars Gulch. A great way to learn more about the area is by visiting interpretive stations along the trail.
