About This Trail
The swamp lake road is closed at the cow creek bridge, so use the foster ridge road. It is recommended that you use a 4WD with some ground clearance. There is a bridge on the road. Users say there is a driving route that leads to the trail. This route involves taking the turn off of 168. Please contact the Sierra National Forest to find out about this detour. Hikers can park at the bridge and walk to the trail.
