About This Trail
This geological formation was caused when two caves collapsed. Surfers and surf watchers keep this area busy. Water from the restless ocean makes a loud roar into a hollow rock formation during winter storms. The surf is making waves as it mixes a violent brew. The punch bowl is probably created from the collapse of the roof over two sea caves. A popular whale watching spot, the park has intriguing geology. This picnic spot is top of the rocky coastline. You should explore the tidepools. The beach at Devil's punch bowl has access to it and opportunities to explore it and view it from the shoreline.
