About This Trail
The walk above the river is beautiful. Devil's Kitchen's name is derived from an odd rock outcrop. The room was used as a hideout by Civil War guerrillas. This is a beautiful walk around the bluffs with limestone ledges, caves and springs. It is considered a favorite walk around the park and offers a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is good to stay and enjoy the outdoors, but you should grab your pole and stay awhile.
