About This Trail
The Dance Hall Rock Rocks trail is a short out and back trail that leads to the Dance Hall Rock, where the San Juan expedition spent a couple of months while the rest of the road was built to the Colorado River. The good acoustics of the natural stone amphitheater appealed to the pioneers.
