About This Trail

Imported description

The state of Ohio owns Crooked Run, which is located next to Chilo Lock 34 Park. A lease agreement is in place between the park district and the preserve. It's location along the Ohio river provides a number of scenic views and is an excellent place to birdwatching. The preserve has 180 species of birds. The hiking trails have a scenic river overlook, three wildlife viewing blinds and is an excellent bird watching location.
