I quote:This is a great hot weather hike as you travel through a couple canyons and the air gets cooler than the ridges. Crane Canyon is off the beaten path and you'll find plenty of peacocks and other curiosities in an offbeat Top LA neighborhood. It'll take 15-20 min to get back in the park and view the amazing panoramas atop the rock formations. It is possible to travel by road for an8.6 mile adventure that would lead you to climbing ledges and hiking up steep mountain peaks.
