About This Trail
The easiest hike in Hudson Highlands State Park is on the driveway of the old estate ruins. The Cornish Trail is more or less the same as NY Route 9D. You can head uphill on the concrete driveway until you reach the estate ruins on the north side of the trail. It's well worth your time to see all the structures in the area, including a swimming pool, greenhouse, laundry facility, and pump house. The red/blue route is a link between the Cornish Trail and the brook trail.
