About This Trail

Imported description

The home would be called a cottage with 70 rooms if it was one of the famous mansions. If you are not, you're definitely not the man who did that. The Breakers is one of the many mansions in Newport that are the city's top attractions. The homes are open for tours so you can get a glimpse into the lives of the rich. The best place to get a look at the mansions from the backyards is the cliff walk. It is worth the effort to walk any of the sections of the promenade that have views of mansions on the one side and rocky coastline on the other.
