About This Trail

The Old Mine Road is now a pipe/power line route and is the largest in the area. The road was built to bring iron Ore to Ladentown. Continue to the park after seeing the remains of the mine. The ruins of the Call Family Farm can be seen from the Cross Horse Chock Creek. The LP should go to the top of Big Hill. Take the Suffern-Bear Mtn trail to Ladentown Mtn. The Red Arrow Trail leads to the shores of the Third Reservoir. There are butterflies in this area.
