Chip Ross Lower Dan Loop Trail

The old growth oak and pine have a great view. The main trail goes north from the parking lot and leads to the top of Ivy Hill. You will see a great view of Corvallis at the top. Follow the main trail to the 3 bench. Just follow the main trail. As you descend into the trees, the trail becomes a single track, and you can stay on "Dan's Trail" at the sign. If you follow Dan's trail till it comes to a gravel road, go left and follow the gravel road back to the Dan's trail sign. Stay on the trail as it goes down and up. It will be muddy in the winter.
