About This Trail

Imported description
Go from the orange gate to Jackson Creek and then take a right onto a graveled trail. This is a trail. Climb a steep open area into the trees and then follow the switch backs through the forest. You can cross the dirt road about 1/2 way up if you want to. The trail continues to change back and forth until you reach the 600 or Patterson Road. This is where the trail ends and you will find your turn around point. The last part of the road that goes to the top of the hill is not an approved trail by the OSU Forestry Department. The trail can be muddy in the winter.
