Chinaman Gulch and Carnage Canyon OHV Trail

One of the most popular motorized recreation trails in Colorado is open all year. It is a popular winter destination because of its close proximity to the front range. If you go east past the parking area, you'll find the entrance to a trail that's nationally recognized. Stay on established routes. It is located on BLM land. The BLM Royal Gorge Field Office is in Caon City. There are isolated rock obstacles and some with bypasses. It's best for modified vehicles with lockers and skid plates. There are some aggressive stock SUVs that can manage this trail with an experienced driver and a good spotter. It is for highly modified vehicles only.
