Chihuahuan Desert Nature Trail

The trail is closed due to archery target practice. Before you visit the park, please read the website. It is a good idea to hike a high-desert meadow with the Franklin Mountains in the background. The hike is through a desert. In the spring, there are flowers. It is listed as a 1/2 mile loop. There are a number of trails off the loop that could take 2 or 3 hours to wander around and look at.
