Cheslen Preserve via Embreeville Road

The largest private nature preserve in southeastern Pennsylvania contains expansive farming farms, streams and barrens. Many points on the property allow visitors to see miles of anything that interests them, whereas there's hardly any signs of modern development at any of them. The Unionville Barrensas was designated the a Pennsylvania wild plant sanctuary by the DCNR in 2010. Private landowners can be rewarded for good management and good stewardship of the special areas in which they work.
