About This Trail
The Cedar Gap is the second highest point in Missouri. The Gasconade River, Finley River, and Bryant Creek all start from this point. Visitors can explore the oak/hickory forest and view limestone glades. A gravel trail leads from the parking lot to the valley overlook. The trail can accommodate most hikers. Visitors can continue beyond the overlook and hike the 1.6 mile loop trail. Visitors will notice the remnants of a limestone quarry while hiking.
