About This Trail
The Carter Caves Welcome Center is where the route begins and ends with the Three Bridges trail. It begins at the Welcome Center, goes through the Shangra La arch, runs through the valley lake, crosses smokey creek, and heads to Johnson Homeplace Backcountry Primitive campground. The trail crosses lake Spillway before going back to the Welcome Center.
