About This Trail
This trail is closed to traffic during the winter. The map on this page shows a paved road through Butterfield and Middle Canyons. There are dirt roads for off-roading. This road is one of the few that lead into the Oquirrh Mountains. The Kennecott overlook is a highly recommended side trip. The Utah Valley can be seen from the overlook, including the Kennecott Mine, the Great Salt Lake, and the Utah Lake.
