About This Trail
The Baltimore County side of the park is more challenging due to the steep up and down trails. The only reason it's one of the hardest is because of the climb up to the top of the loop. It is very rocky heading up. It is fairly easy to go around once you are on top of the loop. The trail is well marked in Orange but there is a bit of confusion at one intersection. Stay in the loop. There is only one stream crossing the Trail head spit. You are going the wrong way if you cross two streams. The high trail is always dry even after a day of rain.
