About This Trail

Imported description
It offers a nice scenic trail along with one full of historic points of interest. The trail goes all the way from the old L&N to the new one. The Turnpike was closed after it was found too close to the ranges at Fort Kyser. Nowadays it is common for people on the trail to hear gunshots. You can see 3 old stone bridges on the trail. The POW's were used to repair the bridges. The Sieboldt Cave can be seen from the left. You aren't allowed to approach the cave during the year. It's a gate close to the cave that's the location for you to turn and retrace your steps. The trail is usually closed for training missions.
