It is a route that takes you up the first 4 peaks. It is popular because it is the most popular part. The view are awesome, despite the Rock-scrambling involved. A route that is not the trail ends at a viewpoint at the 4th peak, and you have to take a back path. It's a safer option to descend back to the intersection with the Undercliff Trail and the other trails: green and red.
