About This Trail
The Bluebird Hiking Trail is a short loop hike that is great for the whole family. 27 different duck species frequent the refuge so make sure to bring a field guide. Make sure to keep an eye out for moose and elk. This is a kid friendly and dog friendly hike. You can either hike the trail back to the trail head or start your hike at the other end and have someone pick you up. The automobile road is a one way loop, so you will have to loop around if you want to return to the trailhead. The most scenic trail in the refuge is the Bluebird Hiking Trail, but it is still a great walk.
