About This Trail
The Continental Divide Trail leads to Black Peak. The hike to the southern summit of Black Peak is a very satisfying experience. The hike is a point-to-point hike that includes a out and back hike. The portion of the CDT that continues past Black Peak is currently closed due to fire safety issues. Before you hike through the area, make sure to check with the park management for any new information. There are signs along the trail with a map of the area.
