About This Trail
The Nature Center has gardens and displays related to geology and native plants. Chikadees will eat seeds from the palm of your hand in winter. The southern part of the trail went through a swamp. Look for flowers, bayberry, red maple trees, alders and a variety of shrubs and rushes. Take a moment to read the interpretative displays. You can do a 1/3 mile hike called the square, which is a walk over rolling terrain. Animals, horses, and cross country skiing are not allowed.
