About This Trail
This is a great hike to see the large open views of the valley. You can see the mountain ranges on clear days. Views of over 60 miles are not unusual on summer days. It is a good lake for camping and trout fishing. The lake is in a valley. The trail goes off to Crater Lake and connects to the longer trail network. The trail is not very strenuous. The trail goes through a forest but mostly follows a mountain edge.
