Big Canyon is an out and back trail. As you hike, keep an eye out for native plants and animals. The trail is marked and easy to follow, but it is not easy to follow if you are on jeep roads. The trail goes to the site of a house which used to stand there after 172 feet. The Poison Oak has clusters of green and red leaves.
