Bennett Hill

Bennett Hill is a nature preserve near Helderbergs. It rises 400 feet into the air above the village. From the kiosk is where you can take the Yellow trail along the edge of woods and dairy farm. It's on your right and you can read it. The trail starts its ascent on the backside of the Bennett hill after 1/2 mile. The trail changes direction from right to left in a short distance. The trail is climbing and it makes a sharp turn to the right. If you're not paying attention you will be missing the turn as there is another trail going straight ahead. A trail goes uphill until it reaches the top of a hill. There is a path leading to the summit. The best view is at the North end. It's not quite grown to the extent that you can still see Albany.
