About This Trail
It is open from sunrise to sunset. You can either take the loop to the left or right after the trail head. The left side starts an uphill climb that becomes steep in the first quarter of the loop. The next curves lead you to the banks of the Shepaug River. The trail is lined with pine trees from that point.
