About This Trail
The Gorges State Park is one of the newest state parks in the state and was recently purchased by the state. There is a 7,100-acre state park and 2,900 acres of gameland within it, which are among the best of their kind in the eastern United States. It is easy to make the trek to Bearwallow Falls and you can view the creek from the viewing platform.
