About This Trail
This hike begins with a loud accent. This flat field will be a nice shady spot for a break. The picnic table and water source at the shelter are nice. Return to the BMT and then take a right to Luftee Knob. It is an easy ridge walk to the AT from here. You will have views of Mount on a clear day. The little white spot on the peak is called Cammerer. Turn left on the AT and then left to shelter. Day 2 will provide an easy return. This could be completed as a day hike.
