About This Trail

The trail begins at the end of the road. The parking lot is at the end. The falls can either be accessed via the ring the peak trail or the old roads. The trail goes up and down a ridge and goes down into a valley on the other side. The peak trail begins to ascend again after three creek crossing. There is a nice camp site between the first and second creek crossing. The peak trail is left at the first right hand switchback. There is a sign in the forest. You can reach the creek at the base of the falls after a short way. It is easier to explore higher on the far side of the falls. The falls are more interesting in the spring. The flow is lower in the fall but still worth the visit.
