21st Street Pond Trail

This paved trail around the 21st Street Pond has something for everyone. There are plenty of places for fishing, and you can often see ducks, turtles, and all sorts of birds. It also borders the Ogden River for some extra scenic variety. It is also a popular ice fishing spot during the winter. The natural looking 21st Street Pond was actually created when water from the river filled a borrow pit used for local freeway construction. The trail that circles the pond now connects with the Ogden River Parkway to the east and the West Haven Trail to the west. Fishing Regulations: 21st Street Pond falls under the community pond fishing regulations of Utah. The daily limit is 2 fish. Anglers are encouraged to voluntarily release all Largemouth Bass. Waters are open to fishing only when the community parks are open to the public. 21st Street Pond is leased to a Ogden wakeboarding company that uses the water to test equipment. The public is not allowed to swim, or boat on the pond. Please respect all private property signs and pack out all your garbage.
