The Yuba Special Recreation Area, conveniently located in Central Utah, offers a variety of water recreation opportunities. Warm summer water temperatures, sandy beaches, nearby off-highway vehicle areas, and fishing for walleye and yellow perch attract visitors year-round. At an elevation of 5,100 feet, the Yuba Special Recreation Area is 25 miles south of Nephi, just off Interstate 15. The reservoir, when full, is 22 miles long and reaches a maximum depth of 80 feet. This recreation area is cooperatively managed by Utah State Parks and Recreation and the USDI Bureau of Land management.
