10/1/2020--It is our pleasure to announce that the North Wildhorse Campground is open after repairs were made to the campground after the Sugarloaf Fire of 2018. Wildhorse Reservoir is an important northeastern Nevada year-round fishery, which also offers excellent ice fishing in the winter (December through early March). Summers are mild and boating, shore fishing, water skiing and wind surfing are popular activities. There are 18 campsites, tables, fire rings, grills, tree or shade ramadas, three group sites, vault toilets, hand pump water, no hook-ups, maximum trailer length is 24ft. Camping (single site) $10.00, Camping (double site) $20.00, Camping (group site) $40.00 per vehicle/night. Day use is $5.00 per vehicle. Scenic drives, mountain biking and snowmobiling opportunities nearby.
