Franklin North is a US Army Corps of Engineers recreation area within Central And Southern Florida. The Corps manages 400+ lake and river projects nationwide, making it one of the largest federal providers of outdoor recreation. It is managed directly by the US Army Corps of Engineers as part of the agency's Civil Works recreation program.
