Byers Pass is located within Bald Mountain off of Byers Pass road. The area is utilized for unregulated target shooting. Please drive slowly through residential areas.BLM does not specifically manage shooting areas, however target shooting on BLM lands is allowed if conducted in a safe manner. There are no facilities at Byers Pass, please pack out what you pack in. For more information about unregulated target shooting contact the BLM at 530-252-5303.For other target shooting area opportunities, check out Sportsman Shooting Range or Antelope Pit Shooting Area.
