About this unit
North Mineral and south Hinsdale counties wrapping Bristol Head and the upper Rio Grande drainage. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 12,000 feet near Spring Creek Pass. Predominantly Rio Grande National Forest with the Weminuche Wilderness on the southern boundary.
