About this unit
West-central Conejos County wrapping the upper Conejos River near Platoro Reservoir. Aspen and spruce-fir at 9,500 to 11,000 feet climb to alpine tundra in the South San Juan Wilderness. Predominantly Rio Grande National Forest.
