About this unit
West Conejos and south Rio Grande counties wrapping the South San Juan Wilderness and the Conejos River drainage. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 12,000 feet. Predominantly Rio Grande National Forest with the South San Juan Wilderness on the high country.
