About this unit
South Archuleta County along the Navajo River and the New Mexico border. Aspen and spruce-fir on the upper slopes grade through ponderosa to oakbrush on the lower benches. Predominantly San Juan National Forest with the South San Juan Wilderness on the eastern flank.
