West San Miguel and northwest Dolores counties between Norwood and the Disappointment Valley. Pinyon-juniper and sage benches with aspen on the higher north slopes; the Disappointment Valley holds sage and salt-desert scrub on the basin floor. Mix of BLM and GMUG National Forest with private ranch ground.
