About this unit
Southeast Chaffee County around Salida and Methodist Mountain. Pinyon-juniper and oakbrush on the lower foothills grade up through aspen to spruce-fir on the Sangre de Cristo north end. Mix of San Isabel National Forest, BLM, and private ranch ground.
