About this unit
North-central Moffat and Routt counties wrapping the Elkhead Mountains. Aspen and lodgepole on the north slopes drop into sage parks and ranch country toward Craig. Mixed BLM and Routt National Forest ground with significant private inholdings along Elkhead Creek.
