About this unit
South Pitkin and north Gunnison counties wrapping Mount Sopris and the upper Crystal River. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine cirques on 12,953-foot Mount Sopris. Predominantly White River National Forest with the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness on the eastern edge.
