About this unit

South Pitkin and west Gunnison counties wrapping the Elk Mountains south face and the Crystal River drainage. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine cirques and 14,000-foot peaks in the Maroon Bells-Snowmass and Raggeds wilderness areas. Predominantly White River and Gunnison national forests.
