About this unit
North San Miguel and south Ouray counties wrapping Telluride and the Lizard Head Wilderness. Aspen and spruce-fir climb to alpine tundra above 13,000 feet on the San Juan crest. Predominantly San Juan and GMUG national forests with the Lizard Head Wilderness on the high country.
