About
Ward Lake Campground elevation is 10,200 ft. There are 27 campsites. Maximum spur lenght - 45 ft. The campground meanders along the shores of Ward Lake among spruce trees. Some campsites are on the shore while others overlook the lake. Still others are tucked back and away from the Lake. Shoreline sites are open and on an unmarked spur road, while remaining sites are shaded and more secluded. The campground provides convenient access to the many lakes on the Grand Mesa. This is mosquito country; bring lots of repellent.
