The campground is located to the northeast of a scenic pine forest. Four sites can hold up to 6 people. There are a lot of flowers. Idaho City is south of it. The campground is near some bodies of water. It's important to fish for rainbow trout. The State Highway 21 is a scenic byway that spans along a large swath of terrain. There are many trail opportunities within the area. The Motor Vehicles Use Map can be used to find the best open roads and trails in Idaho City. In winter, skiers and snowmobilers use the area.
